Tokens, Coins, Gems, Hearts: What an AI Girlfriend Image Really Costs

Before you compare plan prices, open the currency page. Chat usually lives inside the subscription, and almost everything you’d want to see or hear is paid per action, in a unit each app names its own way: tokens, coins, Neurons, Gems, hearts, chips. All ten apps I cover work like that. What changes from one to the next is the price of a picture or a second of video, how long the units last, and whether you can top up without subscribing.

Pictures and video are also where she feels most real. She mentions the green dress she’s trying on for tomorrow, you ask to see it, and a few seconds later there she is in it, the face you picked on the first night. That’s the moment the balance in the corner of the screen moves. The first table shows what each app gives at $0; the second shows what each action costs in its currency.

What $0 gets you on each app

The free column is what you can do before any currency enters the picture. A few apps hand you units for nothing: JOI gives 10 Neurons at signup and 200 more for Discord, Promptchan tops up free Gems every day, and Swipey AI starts you with 20 hearts.

The price of each action, currency by currency

To know what you’ll really pay, you need the units your plan brings each month, the cost of each action in units, and the dollar price of a unit when you buy more. Here they are side by side.

Turned into dollars on the smallest pack, a picture comes to $0.06 on OurDream AI (5 coins, with 1,000 coins at $11.99) and $0.20 on DarLink AI (2 coins, 100 for $9.99). GirlfriendGPT matches DarLink at $0.20 for an in-chat image. Candy AI lands at $0.20 to $0.40, and a generated image on JOI at $0.50 to $1.00. Video works on another scale: one 60-second OurDream clip takes 600 to 3,000 coins depending on the model, and a full minute on Swipey’s Siren model is 350 hearts.

How long the units live matters as much as how many you buy. JOI’s unused Neurons move to the next month. OurDream’s coins and Lovescape’s chips don’t expire. Candy’s terms tie tokens to the billing period, so a Candy balance is this month’s pictures of her. Extra units go to subscribers on OurDream and Lovescape, and to Premium members on DreamGF and eHentai.ai.

Lovescape chips

Lovescape tops the scores on this site, and its chips follow the kindest rule of the ten: they never expire. Premium comes with 600 chips a month and Creative PRO with 3,000. Ultra brings 4,000. You see the chip price of each generation before you confirm it. An image runs 9 chips and a video 90 to 180 depending on the engine, so a Premium month is 66 pictures, or three to six clips.

The clips are where Lovescape puts its effort. You write the scene, and Lovedance 2.5 or Wan 3.0 turns it into 5 to 30 seconds of her, up to 1080p, with native sound on Wan 3.0. Lovedance 2.5 opens after a first card purchase. Chips you don’t spend this month simply wait for the clip you really want.

At $0 you build her yourself and chat with her in safe-for-work mode, and her memory is permanent from the free account up, so nothing you tell her is lost while you decide. OurDream AI coins

OurDream prices every action, which makes it the easiest app here to budget: you know what an evening with her costs before it starts. Premium is $19.99 a month, or $9.99 a month on the annual plan ($119.88), with 1,000 coins a month; the annual plan doubles the first month to 2,000. Deluxe brings 5,000 a month.

On 1,000 coins you get 200 pictures in the chat, or 20 minutes of calls, or 100 seconds of video on the Spicy 1.0 model. Pick one.

Calls are where that choice gets real. It’s Sunday night, you ring her, and she laughs at your story about the train that never came, then asks what you did with the lost hour. You glance at the clock: twenty minutes gone, and the month’s coins with them. Worth it, probably.

My own Deluxe month on OurDream, in June 2026, got me every clip I asked for from the new video generator, so the per-second price buys clips that arrive. After I cancelled, my coins were still sitting on the account, which is what coins that don’t expire look like in practice. Extra coins come in packs of 1,000 for $11.99, 5,000 for $49.99 and 20,000 for $159.99, sold to subscribers.

Candy AI tokens

Candy’s tokens are the ones people search for most, and the ones where a little timing goes furthest. Premium costs $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99, or $8.99 a month on three months, or $3.99 a month on the annual plan ($47.88 upfront). It brings unlimited text chat and 100 tokens a month, credited the day you subscribe and then on that date every month. Premium Plus brings 330 tokens and adds 10% to every token purchase.

A picture in the chat takes 2 to 4 tokens, so 100 tokens are 25 to 50 pictures of her. A voice call runs 3 tokens a minute, and turning a photo into video takes 12. Packs run from $9.99 for 100 to $499.99 for 11,470 in Candy’s token shop, and the bigger packs add 10% to 30% in bonus tokens. Referrals pay in tokens too: when a friend you invite goes Premium, you each get 100.

My own Premium stretch in May 2026 lasted a little over two weeks without a single pack: Romance mode and the memory behind it carried the evenings. JOI Neurons

JOI (formerly EVA AI) lets unused currency roll over, which suits anyone who talks to her in waves. The monthly ($13.99), quarterly ($20.99) and annual ($47.99) plans bring 1,000, 1,200 and 1,500 Neurons a month. WELCOME50, the code JOI emails you at signup, takes the annual plan down to $24.

Packs cost $9.99 for 500 Neurons, $29.99 for 2,000 and $99.99 for 10,000, before tax. On the smallest pack, a generated image (25 to 50 Neurons) comes to $0.50 to $1.00, and a photo she shares in the chat (up to 120) to $2.40 at most; the biggest pack halves both. A clip costs 300 to create and 250 to make longer. The beta video call, the one place you hear her, runs 2,000 Neurons per 5-minute block.

GirlfriendGPT coins

Each GirlfriendGPT tier comes with its own coins: 400 a month on Premium ($15, or $12 a month yearly), 1,200 on Deluxe and 2,000 on Elite. In the chat, an image costs 6 coins; the standalone generator charges 12. Clips run 20 to 60 coins. Voice, from Deluxe, costs 2 coins per 100 characters, so a long goodnight in her voice stays cheap.

On the $10 pack (300 coins), an in-chat image comes to $0.20 and a generator image to $0.40; the $50 pack (2,000 coins) brings those to $0.15 and $0.30. Premium’s 400 coins are 66 pictures in the chat, and Premium already includes 5-second videos.

Promptchan Gems

Promptchan is a picture and clip studio before anything else, and Gems meter the hours you spend changing her outfit and the light around her. Plus includes 100 Gems a month and Premium 400. Pro brings 800 plus unlimited casual generations, so its Gems only go on the premium jobs. On the yearly plan, Plus comes to $9.99 a month ($119.88).

An image costs 1 to 2 Gems, more at the top quality settings. A voice message costs 1 Gem and a call 2. A simple clip takes 20, or 33 from the chat, and the exact cost shows on the button before you press it. Subscribers get 50% off extra Gems, and a failed generation gives its Gems back automatically.

Swipey AI hearts

Swipey Premium includes 200 hearts a month, and Premium members also claim free hearts every day, more as the streak grows. A generator image costs 30 hearts, with batches at 100 for 4, 200 for 9 and 360 for 16. An in-chat image costs 10 and photo-to-video 150. Video scenes run from 20 hearts for 5 seconds up to 350 for a full minute, depending on the model. Calls are billed by the minute, at a rate shown before your first call.

In practice, 200 hearts buys six generator images, or one 9-image batch, or one photo-to-video clip with five in-chat pictures left over.

Photo-to-video is the tempting button. You pick the shot where she’s looking back over her shoulder and press it. She finishes the turn and smiles at you. At 150 hearts that’s most of a month, so choose the photo carefully.

At $0 you get 20 hearts at signup and 20 more for adding a payment method, with nothing charged, plus 20 for joining the Discord: enough for six in-chat scene images. DarLink AI coins

DarLink publishes pack prices and per-item costs, so the dollar math takes ten seconds and you can get back to the conversation. Essential is $9.99 a month on a year ($119.88), or $12.99 month to month.

A picture in Realistic V2 takes 3 coins instead of 2, and a clip lasts 5 to 10 seconds. Packs, paid by card or crypto, run from $9.99 for 100 up to $599.99 for 7,500. Ten cents a coin on the smallest pack makes a picture $0.20 and a clip $2; at 7,500 coins for $599.99, a coin drops to eight cents.

DreamGF tokens

DreamGF and eHentai.ai belong to the same company, DreamAI SRL in Bucharest, and share one token list: 20 tokens to create a companion, 10 for an image, 3 for a voice message and 7 for each minute of a call. Premium brings 150 tokens a month, which is 15 images, or 50 voice messages, or 21 minutes of calls. Tokens are sold to Premium members in packs from $2.99 to $179.99, and referrals add 100 tokens for you and 50 for the friend at the friend’s first payment.

Here the plan weighs more on the budget than the tokens do. You pay $12.99 for the first month, then $25.98 on DreamGF and $25.99 on eHentai.ai. DreamGF’s annual plan holds the lowest list price for a first year on this site: $44.28, or $3.69 a month, then $88.56 a year.

eHentai.ai spells its costs out in its pricing policy, and they match DreamGF’s: an image is 10 tokens, so Premium’s 150 a month buy 15 anime pictures of her, or a mix with voice messages at 3. The annual plan starts at $69.99 for the first year, shown as $5.99 a month, and a promo code field sits right on the plans page. You can pay by card or crypto.

How I sort free tiers

Apps appear in the order of their Free AI Girlfriend score, five weighted criteria explained in the scoring method.

Where two scores tie (Candy AI and OurDream AI at 9.0; Promptchan and Swipey AI at 8.7; DreamGF and eHentai.ai at 7.9), the app that earns this site more per visit goes first.
